Which Aaron Do We Get This Week?

On this week's all new episode of the Absolute DC Podcast (@DC_Absolute) Ronnie (@Ronbar316) tells Aaron (@AaronSBell) about what he's been missing  by not reading the Prelude to the Wedding comics.  There is also some discussion about The Man of Steel and the new Justice League series (here's a little preview - neither of them understand what the point of No Justice was).  The was a new New Age of Heroes series (The Unexpected) that they get into a bit, before ending up talking about the breaking (at the time of recording) news about Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, as well as the updates on the DC Universe streaming service.

Join co-hosts Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) for a weekly discussion of the DC comics, movies and TV! They go in depth with the story, talking their likes and dislikes, which often leads to some ribbing when their tastes vary. They would love to hear from you at their personal twitter accounts or you can tweet the show directly @DC_Absolute.

Absolute DC Podcast is hosted by Aaron Bell and Ronnie THE Barron and produced by Aaron Bell.

It's Super Bowl Sunday!  What better a time to fill your ear holes with a bonus episode of Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316)  battling it out over the Tom King run of Batman?  Actually, it was a pretty civil talk about what Ronnie really likes, and what Aaron is not so fond of.  But it will probably still be more competitive than the big game tonight.
This week, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) talk about their current feelings about the Doomsday Clock series.  They shock themselves and probably everyone listening when they agree on their favorite part.  What's the one thing they both agree on is the most interesting? Well, you'll have to listen and find out.  They also talk the new (highly anticipated by Aaron) series Damage.  Could they possibly agree on two books in the same episode?  The sky may be falling, folks.  And it wouldn't be an episode without the two of them getting completely sidetracked to talk about DC Comics events.  What makes an event?  How strange was the list of events Ronnie found online?  All this and, well, pretty much just all that, in a brand new episode of the Absolute DC Podcast (@DC_Absolute)
This week, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) talk all about the first episode of Black Lightning.  What did they like and dislike about the show?  How much CW is too much CW?  How is it that Aaron is the one who really likes something AGAIN?  When they finish up talking episode 1 of Black lightning, they move on to talk a bit about how social media is making comic fans lose their minds.  This is in relation to a few issues ago of Injustice Year Two where people were getting upset over something Batman did.

On this week's (slightly delayed) episode of the Absolut eDC Podcast (@DC_Absolute) Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) talk a little bit about their feelings on Batman and the Signal issue #1.  What did they like about it? What did they not like about it?  Their future reading plans for the series?  They also get into a little bit of the new DC on CW series Black Lightning (which debuted right after they finished recording, so don't expect an in depth review until the next episode).  And they finish it all up talking some theories on Doomsday Clock #2, mainly about the Mime and Marionette.
What happens when Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) are swamped at work?  They put out a pre-recorded 20 questions episode!  Listen in for all the timely references of an episode recorded this past September!  Aaron took Ronnie on a tour of his DC past, from favorite books growing up, to how he first got started with comics in the first place.  At least, I believe that's what was asked, it's been about four months since we recorded this one.  I remember having a lot of fun recording this one, so hopefully you enjoy listening to it as well.

And as always, if you'd like to get in touch with the show directly, you can tweet us @DC_Absolute
