Absolute DC has released 141 episodes since launching on Sep 09, 2016

On this week's episode of the Absolute DC Podcast (@DC_Absolute), Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) jump right into some Doom Patrol casting news.  Then, things go Sideways before talking about the upcoming (well, by the time this episode is released they will be out) new DC/Loony Tunes crossover books.  They give a bit of a comic roundup talking about the new Super Sons book, the last few Detective Comics issues, Damage, Justice League Dark, and the Silencer.  They talk a little about kickstarter, they argue over whether or not Superman would know if a book was on a best seller list, a favorite artist of theirs being hired to do DC covers, a friend live tweeting their episodes and not remembering at all what they talked about, and then they wrap it up with a bit of HBO Watchmen talk.  All in all, it's pretty much the usual brand of nonsense and tangents.

On this week's episode Ronnie (@Ronbar316) lets Aaron (@AaronSBell) have it for falling behind apparently 12 issues of Red Hood and the Outlaws.  Aaron put his mind to a goal, and happened to catch up in time for this recording, so they go over the last half year or so of the series, which remains one of the best of Rebirth, and the game changing 25th issue.  They talk a little bit more about Justice League Dark.  Ronnie asks Aaron's opinion on the apparent changes coming to Aquaman to make it more 'movie friendly.'  They talk about the giant scale of Scott Snyder's Justice League series, and where they can possibly go from here.  They talk about how the Unknown Soldier has been in Ronnie's backyard all along.  They briefly cover Batgirl 25, Suicide Squad 2 delays, and how it's almost time for the "Everyone's quitting the DCEU" rumors to start up again.  All this and tangents galore!

It's the 99th episode of this podcast!! What do Aaron and Ronnie talk about? 99 Red Balloons of course! No seriously they talk about Plastic Man, Hawkman, Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns along with many many more things!

The time has finally come. Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) have been talking about this comic since they started this podcast, and it's finally time to fully talk Injustice Gods Among Us.  If you haven't read the comics yet, but plan to, be aware that they dive right into full recap mode with spoilers abound.  They cover it all, from what finally makes Superman snap.  What makes Batman oppose him.  Where the other members of the extended Justice League fit in on either side, and how far they're willing to go.  They only get about half way through the first year on this episode, but this is only the first of many episodes on this series, so stay tuned for more.

On this week's episode, Ronnie (@Ronbar316) gets things started grilling Aaron (@AaronSBell) about why he represented  the Green Lantern in the Justice League of Groomsmen at his friends wedding this past weekend.  Once that's settled, they dive into some of last week's comics.  Ronnie fills Aaron in on the series finale of The Hellblazer, the cover the latest issue of The Silencer, they talk the penultimate issue of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, and end up with Action Comics 1001.  They wrap the show up with a few quick hits on some DC related news.
