CW has cast their NEW Lost Boys pilot episode. We are now getting Brandon Cook, Lincoln Younes, and Ruby Cruz as Michael, Benjamin, and Elise (originally named Star), respectively. Parts originally played by Jason Patric, Keifer Sutherland, and Jamie Cruz, respectively.

Disney head stepped down on Tuesday AFTER I had already gone to post!

Iger will accept the role of Executive Chairman, for the next year in order to ease the transition to Bob Chapek, former chairman of Disney Parks. 

Stephen Spielberg has stepped down as director. Preferring to be a “very hands-on” producer, and passing the Indiana Jones whip to a new director. That new director? If Disney has their way, it will be James Mangold.

Fifty Shades Freed producer Michael De Luca was attached as well and rounding out the list was Lisa Joy, one of the creators of the hit HBO series WestWorld.

Charles Soule’s novel, Light of the Jedi, will not only be the first book from Project Luminous (or The High Republic), but is now being rumored to be the basis for the first movie in the Post (pre?) Skywalker era. With none other than Jodi Whittaker in the lead role as Avar Kriss, who adorns the cover of the book.

Universal is rumored to be remaking the Brenden Frasier movie with Ryan Gosling in the starring role… why???
