They have ordered 8 episodes, with all original cast members (Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson) making a return.

HBO is developing an adaptation of the popular horror game. Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) will write and EP, alongside Niel Druckmann, who created the game. Carolyn Strauss will also executive produce along with Evan Wells, president of game development studio Naughty Dog. The project is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television and in association with PlayStation Productions. The project is the first television series from PlayStation Productions.

Could we be seeing a serialized version of Matilda,” “The BFG,” “James and the Giant Peach,” or any other beloved Roald Dahl story?
