Absolute DC Podcast

Join Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) for a weekly discussion of the DC comics, movies and TV! They go in depth with the story, talking their likes and dislikes, which often leads to some ribbing when their tastes vary. They would love to hear from you at their personal twitter accounts or you can tweet the show directly @DC_Absolute.

Absolute DC Podcast has released 132 episodes since launching on Jul 07, 2017

This week, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) talk all about the first episode of Black Lightning.  What did they like and dislike about the show?  How much CW is too much CW?  How is it that Aaron is the one who really likes something AGAIN?  When they finish up talking episode 1 of Black lightning, they move on to talk a bit about how social media is making comic fans lose their minds.  This is in relation to a few issues ago of Injustice Year Two where people were getting upset over something Batman did.

On this week's (slightly delayed) episode of the Absolut eDC Podcast (@DC_Absolute) Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) talk a little bit about their feelings on Batman and the Signal issue #1.  What did they like about it? What did they not like about it?  Their future reading plans for the series?  They also get into a little bit of the new DC on CW series Black Lightning (which debuted right after they finished recording, so don't expect an in depth review until the next episode).  And they finish it all up talking some theories on Doomsday Clock #2, mainly about the Mime and Marionette.

What happens when Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) are swamped at work?  They put out a pre-recorded 20 questions episode!  Listen in for all the timely references of an episode recorded this past September!  Aaron took Ronnie on a tour of his DC past, from favorite books growing up, to how he first got started with comics in the first place.  At least, I believe that's what was asked, it's been about four months since we recorded this one.  I remember having a lot of fun recording this one, so hopefully you enjoy listening to it as well.

And as always, if you'd like to get in touch with the show directly, you can tweet us @DC_Absolute

It's an all new year, but the same old Ronnie (@Ronbar316) and Aaron (@AaronSBell).  They go through all of the past year's DC comics, movies, and more.  Favorite artists, which series that they used to love that they don't so much anymore, which series has really grown on them.  Never looking to be like everyone else, they even give their top 8 list of DC comics for the past year.

On a special takeover episode of the Absolute DC Podcast, Nick and Martin fill in for the boys while they take the holidays off and boy is there a ton to discuss! First up some TV talk as Martin calls Legends of Tomorrow a precious gem, and Nick and Martin agree that Ronnie should take the Supergirl Challenge. Then, why Grant Morrison is a genius, reading Sandman, and so much more! Music, Public Enemy: War at 33 1/3
