Absolute DC has released 141 episodes since launching on Sep 09, 2016

In a first, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) stick perfectly on topic this week without going on too many tangents.

Of course that's not true.

They do stick mostly on topic, when they remember what that topic is.  They start out talking the new writer announcement everyone has been talking about, before covering the last few issues of Detective Comics.  From there they move on to the DC Black Label books, the Milk Wars, why Ronnie thinks the Signal is terrible, how much of 52 has Aaron caught up on, Gail Simone's Plastic Man announcement, the upcoming Titans show and how the DC streaming service is going to work, Batman Beyond, and Batman Odyssey before going WAY off topic and talking about Toys R Us.  Can you believe they fit this all into an hour?

In case you missed it (or didn't know about it) Ronnie was a guest on the Geek Brunch Podcast the other day to talk about some retro comics. You can find the episode here - https://www.geekbrunchpodcast.com/2018/03/18/geek-brunch-103-retro-ronnie/

And Aaron will be a guest on Comic Talk Today, which releases later today right here on the Nerdy Legion Network of Podcasts.

On this week's episode of the Absolute DC Podcast (@DC_Absolute) Darrel Taylor (@TheVoice123) of the Taylor Network joins Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) to talk all sort of things DC.  They start off talking about Black Lightning and New Age of Heroes before losing all track of reality.  From there they move on to discuss such topics as the DC characters feeling like themselves no matter who was writing them, Tom King convention sketch ideas and the many times he's killed off Darrell in a book, Wonder Woman 2 casting news, the upcoming Joker origin movie, and internet fandom before landing on some listener questions.

Don't blame Aaron (@AaronSBell), it was Ronnie (@Ronbar316) who names these episodes.    This week the fellas are all over the place.  There is some talk about the New Age of Heroes title The Terrifics, which was highly anticipated by Aaron.  Does it live up to his own hype?  Then they talk about how Ronnie is finally all caught up on Black Lightning.  There would have been some talk about the recently returned iZombie, but Ronnie dropped the ball and didn't watch the episode yet.  Instead, They take a trip down Gotham lane and talk all about the mid-season premiere of the show.  And finally, they talk about The Daly Show.  How does that relate to DC comics, and why isn't it a typo?  find out at this link, as promised during the episode -

On this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) jump all over the place.  Ronnie first goes into how he ended up reading some JSA Classified books recently, before they move into talking about Batman and the Signal.  Luckily Ronnie read issue 2 of that as well, so he was able to fill Aaron in on what he was 'missing.'  Then the show wraps up with a lot of talk about the new Justice League: No Justice mini event, and what the future Justice League teams do (or don't) for them both.

This week Ronnie (@Ronbar316) tells Aaron (@AaronSBell) all about his trip to Planet Comic Con in Kansas City.  They talk about the best and most different cosplay there, what comic creators he got to spend a little time with, and how the convention has changed over the years.  After that, they talk a little bit about the New Age of Heroes series Sideways.
