This week, we had the pleasure of spending some time with artist extraordinaire Tom Fowler, one of the creative talents behind the relaunch of Quantum and Woody. We tackled all kinds of interesting topics from working at Valiant, his dislike of Ninjak, working on HowToons, future projects, education, Dungeons and Dragons and...cannibalism? We dive deep into his creative process and what makes him such a unique talent. Huge thanks to Tom for joining us.

It’s the end of another week, which means it’s time for another episode of the Valiant Central Podcast! This week we had the pleasure of talking to writer-extraordinaire Jeff Lemire about his current run on The Valiant with Matt Kindt and Paolo Rivera, as well as his upcoming Bloodshot: Reborn project with artist Mico Suayan.

If that's not enough, we delve a little into the creator-owned side of things and talk about his creative process, working with Scott Snyder on AD: After Earth, their upcoming graphic novel, as well as his next big project, Descender from Image Comics. This is one episode you do not want to miss.

You can find Jeff Lemire on Twitter @JeffLemire and follow his musings on his blog. Paul is @whospaul and of course, Martin is @geekvine.

It's the end of another week, which means it's time for another episode of the Valiant Central Podcast! This week, we're joined by Sean Neprud from the infamous Only The Valiant podcast. We had a great chat with Sean about the history of OTV, and what it was like to be a Valiant fan during the lean years where no books were coming out. We also delve into the current state of Valiant, the importance of community, being a fan, and discuss how deeply ingrained writers like Matt Kindt have become in the universe.

Be sure to check out Only The Valiant for more great Valiant discussion and follow them on Twitter or subscribe on iTunes. You can always follow me @Valiant_Central and Paul is @WhosPaul. In episode 3 we have our very first guest, Joshua Eves! If the name sounds familiar, Josh hosts the terrific Valiant Effort podcast where he and his buddy Nick review Valiant trades. In their last couple of episodes, they shared Josh’s wife Karyn’s experience teaching Harbinger Volume 2: Renegades to a group of high school students so we talk a little bit about that, the importance of comics in education, and delve a little into the past and talk some Valiant history from the publisher’s previous incarnation. Be sure to also check out Josh’s amazing work on the incredibly detailed original Valiant universe timeline as well as his other podcast, Gold Key Future where he discusses Dynamite’s Gold Key characters.

In our first episode, we discussed Valiant’s solicitations and schedule over the last few months, but now we look into the future and talk about what’s coming up as Valiant Next kicks into full gear. We tackle each of the books, and talk about what excites us. This episode ran a little long, but expect future shows to be between 30 and 45 minutes. We hope you enjoy the show, so be sure to leave a comment below, or find us on on Twitter or Facebook. You can also find Paul on Twiter, @whospaul.
