Ep 80: Your Back

The Fall TV season is in full swing and Mike and John are hard pressed to keep up on all the new and returning shows, but never fear loyal fans... they somehow manage to persevere and bring you all the opinions you never knew you needed! This week the guys dissect the regulars like You're the Worst, Lethal Weapon, and Gotham, and add in a few new ones like Wisdom of the Crowd and Kevin Probably Saves the World. Mike continues his campaign for this season of AHS, and John lets us know how mind-shakingly awful Syfy's new series Ghost Wars is. There is one thing the guys definitely agree on this week however, and that is their thoughts on The Gifted. Is it a success? Is it a flop? Tune in this week to find out straight from the "experts."

Feel free to get in touch with us via Twitter, @whatdidyouwatch, by sending us an e-mail, or by visiting us on Facebook.

Your friendly neighborhood watchers are back in action this week for their milestone 10th episode!  Come listen to the guys wax intellectual about the mysteries of time travel done wrong in Legends of Tomorrow, and explode over this week's episode of Arrow (pun most definitely intended!)  The shows may be winding down, but your hosts are still wound up about cancellations, twists, turns, and those who rise from the dead!  All this plus some trailer reviews and a new show we're quite excited for this fall, on this week's episode of What Did You Watch This Week!

This week was a thinner week for shows as John was busy and Mike had the hammer dropped on his late night on-duty binge sessions, but never fear loyal listener:  We just decided to go deeper into the shows we did watch! Come listen to us groan through Legends of Tomorrow, bemoan the apparent transformation of Damien Darhk from Mystical Manipulator to Bond Villain, and laugh out loud as a Giant on Game of Thrones helps to paint Castle Black a lighter shade.  All this and more, including another hard push from John await in the 9th episode of What Did you Watch this Week!

This week the guys from your favorite podcast about watching stuff tackle some of the highs and lows from the return of Game of Thrones, give another hard push for you to be watching Limitless (seriously people... it's one of the best shows out there, period), and engage is a pretty divisive debate about why Zoom is blue (feel free to tweet us your comments and views on this one to help us out!)

All this plus we answer one listener's request about Supergirl, and cover about a dozen other shows we enjoyed/disliked!  Stay a while, and listen!

This week the guys hit the ground running with Mike calling out John on his assessment of The Blacklist last week, and it all goes downhill from there!  Your hosts are having none of that mistrust BS that SHIELD is slinging, and John gets cavities from Supergirl, a show that seems fine with rewriting the mythos of Superman whenever it feels the need to cause drama.  All this, plus trailers, documentaries, and a preview of the slower summer months on this week's episode!

Another exciting episode is upon us!  Mike shows up 15 minutes late for the podcast because he just couldn't tear himself away from Limitless (and the boys both agree that you SHOULD be watching this show).  We also discuss the twisted way Penguin takes revenge, why there are so many overused tropes in some of these shows, and John makes a couple of hard pushes for shows!  All this and some water bottle mishaps are here for your listening enjoyment.
