The Asimov books are going to AppleTV. This we know, but now that it is getting closer to release moves are being made. Lee Pace and Jared Harris have been cast in 2 of the lead roles (presumably for just the first season). Pace will be the current emperor “Brother Day,” and Harris will be Hari Seldon, a mathematician who predicts the fall of the empire.

THR is now reporting that Loeb is, in fact, headed out at Marvel TV. He is expected to officially make the announcement by Thanksgiving.

The Sanderson sisters are getting a sequel. The movie has been in something of development limbo for some time, and is now picking up steam. Jen D’Angelo has been hired to pen the script that will now be headed to Disney+ instead of theaters. Collider claims that the studio will also be attempting to bring back Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy to reprise their roles form the original movie.
