WB/Discovery and Paramount have sold the broadcast channel. Nexstar Media Group, who now own the majority share, say they plan to make it profitable after years of “operating at an ongoing loss.” Discovery and Paramount will both still own 12.5% each through 2023 with a possibility to extend.
