New Music/Video
Dogstar - Breach Keanu’s new single. New album out Oct 6h “Somewhere Between The Power Lines and Palm Trees.” Solid Alt Rock from the 90s… feels as dated as that sentence sounds. Keanu really does know his way around the bottom end. Minimal RBS.
Dead Icarus - Sellout Alex Varkatzas new band first single. Yeah this is my side of the Atreyu split.
Lacey Sturm - Breathe With Me (featuring Linsdey Stirling) sonic landscape is well defined. Stirling could be a little more prominent in the mix.
Otep - Ostracized first original song from The God Slayer, out Sept 15. Production is back in line(mostly)… but the stand out elements seem lacking. The arrangement feels underwhelming as well.
Daughtry - Artificial “return to my roots” Really slick active rock… no real flex as far as general talent and ability is involved. Kind of impressive bridge section at the end.
Ashnikko - Cheerleader production with her is always really damn good
Torn Soul - "Unearthed" Feat. Phil Bozeman love the bottom end here. Solid performance.
Slaughter To Prevail - Viking Not what I was expecting after losing a guitar player.
Oliver Anthony - Rich Men North of Richmond What I wanted Tyler Childers/Sturgil Simpson/Colter Wall to keep doing…

Dragonforce - support from AMARANTHE, NANOWAR OF STEEL and EDGE OF PARADISE. Starts Oct 20 in Mesa AZ and runs through Nov 19 in LA.
Gwar - Age of Imbeciles Tour. Support from NEGATIVE APPROACH, X-COPS and CANCER CHRIST. Starts Oct 11 in Hampden Beach NH, through Oct 30 in Orlando FL. Presales begin tomorrow (Wednesday, August 16) and the general on-sale date is Friday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Netflix - Netflix is testing a game streaming service on select smart TVs and desktop browsers. The test is currently limited to a small number of users in Poland, but Netflix plans to expand it to more countries in the coming months. The games that are currently available in the test include Asphalt Xtreme: Offroad Racing, Bowling Ballers, This is a True Story, Stranger Things: 1984, and Stranger Things 3: The Game. Netflix is also working on developing its own original games for the service. Controller is your phone if you’re on a smart TV, or keyboard and mouse on PC.
YouTube - YouTube is taking steps to combat spam on Shorts by deactivating links in Shorts descriptions, comments, and the vertical live feed. The company is also taking away the ability to click on social media icons on any desktop channel banners. These changes are necessary to make it harder for scammers and spammers to mislead or scam users via links. YouTube is also adding new links on creators' channels, with a big clickable link appearing by the Subscribe button. The link can bring users to anything from merchandise sites to social media accounts. YouTube is committed to making Shorts a safe and spam-free experience for users. August 31 will be the full roll out, and the permanent solution is set for a late Sept rollout.
Xbox - Community Standards are getting updated. The new suspension policy is a step towards transparency. 2 strikes = day suspension, 4x = week, 8x = lock out of all Xbox social features for a year.

Last Ronin - THQ Nordic publishing, Black Forest producing.
Quake II - Released on PC, and all consoles this gen and previous. Crazy 4k and 120Hz upgrade to the ‘97 classic. Basically all previously released Quake II content returning. There's a brand-new expansion titled Call of the Machine as well.
