The SAG-AFTRA strikes are PARTIALLY at fault for the delay, as I was waiting to hear any updates since Wednesday was a negotiation day. No word before I had to finally record the episode. There WAS, though, plenty of other news to talk about this week. So here we are!!

PS5 SLIM - Confirming rumors, Sony has announced a slim edition of the PS5. Set for release this November. BOTH versions (contrary to rumors) will be seeing a slim version, with the digital version of the console getting the modular treatment of the added Blu-Ray drive for $79.99. Consoles are 450 and 500 respectively.

Dreamworks - The layoffs continue… “DreamWorks Animation reduced its workforce by approximately 70 positions. Roles affected were across corporate functions, feature, television and technology departments as part of an overall cost-reduction,” a spokesperson for DreamWorks told Variety.

Fortnite - Original map is being rumored for a return in Chapter 4 Season 5. Said to have old models and guns and will have constant map changes until the end of the season.
