Aerosmith - The band has retired… from only touring? Apparently the implication is that they will still write and record? The end of touring is due to Steven Tyler’s voice being permanently damaged from a vocal cord injury last year.
Clutch - Looking to start recording sessions next year. Neal wants to narrow the demos down to full songs as soon as they can.

Helldivers 2 - 
The game director of Helldivers 2, Mikael Eriksson, has responded to the backlash over the Escalation of Freedom update (that failed to unlock the anti-tank mines and nerfed the flamethrower). He acknowledged that the update did not meet the target and that some things were not done right, and that the company will own up to it. He also listed the things that the company plans to accomplish within the next 60 days, including re-examining their approach to balance, updating how the fire damage mechanic works, reworking gameplay to prevent excessive ragdolling, and re-prioritizing bug fixes.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - for their 1 year anniversary, Gun Media has announced a limited time version of the Family House map, called Blood Moon. PLUS they will be dropping 3 skins for Leatherface’s chainsaw, called Bloody, Grimy, and Muddy. Plus there have been some dropped prices in the game store.

Halloween - Boss Team Games is producing 2 Halloween games. One of which will have John Carpenter “intimately involved” according to developers.
Halloween VS the Evil Dead - 
Two new games based on the Halloween franchise(one of the aforementioned) and Ash vs. Evil Dead series have been announced. RetroRealms: Halloween and RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead are 16-bit-style platformers where players control Michael Myers and Ash Williams, respectively, as they battle their way through levels filled with iconic sights and sounds from the original films. Both games will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with individual digital copies priced at $24.99 or a physical double-feature bundle for $49.99, offering a nostalgic gaming experience for fans of the horror classics.
Deadlock - Valve’s unannounced shooter hits over 22000 concurrent player on steam, in spite of not having been released.

Return of the Living Dead - 
A lawsuit has been filed over the rights to the intellectual property of the 1985 horror-comedy "The Return of the Living Dead". Living Dead Media, LLC claims to own the copyright to the original screenplay and the underlying script for the film, as well as other trademarks. The company is suing ROTLD Originals LLC, which was formed in July 2024 and is allegedly using the credentials of Beverly Dawn Hartley, an actor from the original film, to claim ownership of the intellectual property. The lawsuit also claims that ROTLD Originals LLC is attempting to interfere with existing contracts between Living Dead Media LLC and licensees

SPECULATION
The Deadpool Effect - There will be at least TWO movies that spin out of the Deadpool & Wolverine hype. My vote is for Gambit and Blade 4.
