Next we have some updates on the seconds season of Altered Carbon. As of the time of recording this, there are only going to be 2 of the
original cast returning. They are Renee Elise Goldsberry and Chris Conner, who played Quellcrist Falconer and Poe respectively.
Then there are some new faces coming to the cast with Simone Missick, Dina Shihabi, Torben Leibrecht, James Saito, and Anthony Mackie will come on as the lead Takeshi Kovacs. The role that was originated in the first season by Joel Kinnaman.

Warner Brothers is reportedly starting work on a Gremlins animated series. CBR is reporting that the series will be going to their
yet-to-be-named streaming app that should be out sometime this year. No release date has been set just yet for the show. Though
with the reported reboot movie somewhere in the works for the last 3 years, it will likely be released in association with that.

Speaking of movies turning into TV series, the CW is reportedly moving forward with their Lost Boys reboot series. Production Weekly released the series synopsis and it sounds pretty close to the original. So it might not fail.

Now let's talk about the movies! Deadline is reporting that John Krasinski will OFFICIALLY be directing the A Quiet Place sequel. Which we all kind of figured. Also returning is his wife Emily Blunt as the bad-ass mom Evelyn Abbot. Production is reportedly set to begin in June and the release date has been set for May 15, 2020.

Next we have a couple quickie bits. First is Luke Wilson has been cast in an undisclosed role in Zombieland 2. Second, Space Jam 2 is set to be released July 16, 2021

Then we have an interesting piece from Ezra Miller on the state of the Flashpoint movie. During a recent press tour when he was asked about the Flash movie, he said that they were working on making the movie a "gift for the fans." He also implied that the movie will not only tie together the DCEU (you know that thing that WB keeps saying they don't really care about anymore) but it will also tie in ALL the DC movie universes to date. Everything from Christopher Reeves to Christopher Nolan...

And our final bit of news comes from Kevin Fiege via CinemaBlend. Feige told the outlet that the James Gunn script will in fact be used for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Though he went on to say that the rumors of Gunn's involvement and control of anything beyond Guardians has been "blown out of proportion." Killing the fanboy expectations across the country.
