What Did You Watch This Week has released 170 episodes since launching on Jul 07, 2017

This week the guys learned about how lies work in The Good Place, saw some high drama in The Orville, and caught up on the latest season premiere of The Blacklist.  Mike gave the hardest sell he's ever given on a movie (to the point where he actually bought a copy immediately after watching) and John makes a super hard sell for Brooklyn Nine-Nine now that it's back alive on NBC.

This week the guys dive into the second episode of this season of The Orville, and each have a differing view on what this means for the series going forward.  Your hosts also watched a couple of bizarre (and highly acclaimed) movies in the form of Sorry to Bother You and Hereditary,  and have some very strong feelings about them as well (especially the latter.)  And finally, John and Mike talk about the hot button Netflix movie, Bandersnatch.

As the new year creeps around again, John and Mike kick things into high gear by recapping all of the miscellaneous shows, movies and trailers they checked out over the holiday break, including the 2 part Timeless series finale, the last episode of Doctor Who until 2020, and the return of The Orville.  Come check it out!

This week on a special holiday filled episode, the guys give their deep dive rundown of the DC TV Universe crossover event Elseworlds.  From start to finish, all 3 episodes are analyzed, the stories are critiqued, and the lines are drawn, connecting the dots.  How does this compare to Crisis on Earth X?  Was this crossover as good without including the Legends of Tomorrow?  How was Bat Woman's introduction?  What does the future hold?

Among other things, this week John and Mike talk about a powerful and moving episode of The Rookie, and really talk about the season finale of Jodie Whitaker's first run at the role of The Doctor.  Also, there is a special announcement about the Elseworlds crossover event that you won't want to miss!
