Comic Talk Today has released 542 episodes since launching on Mar 03, 2018

It's the end of the week so it's time for another episode of Top Of The Pile on Comic Talk Today! This week, Martin discusses a couple of books from last week including Analog #1 and Isola #1 before diving into some reading from this week including Immortal Men #1, Domino #1, Exiles #1, Crude #1 and a book that came out of nowhere for Martin, The Dead Hand #1. Thanks for listening and don't forget this is the last day to enter the Ninjak Vs The Valiant Universe card game contest from Overworld Games.

It's time for a new therapy Thursday and boy does Martin need some therapy. In this episode, Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler from Come Into Me (Black Mask), Cable (Marvel) and the upcoming Her Infernal Descent (Aftershock, out next week!) join Martin to discuss their work, their creative process, the intricacies of creator-owned vs contract work and more! Plus as always, we play a little game and this time, it's Fly Into Me, a David Cronenberg trivia challenge!

Comic Talk Today is back and on this episode, Martin digs into a little big of news including DC Nation orders topping one million, Action Comics #1000 sales at 500,000+, a Batgirl writer has been chosen, and Marvel is launching some odd news shows. Then, Martin digs into just what is going on with the 99 cent Marvel sales on Comixology, whether Marvel is aware that it's going on, and whether the outrage by retailers is being blown out of proportion.

Welcome back to Comic Talk Today! In this episode, Martin talks about the importance of being earnest. Why publishers and creators should be straightforward and honest with fans, and why it's important to have the right kind of engagement. Plus, he takes a look at some publishers that are doing it right, and some that have fallen by the wayside.

Thursday means it's time for some comic book therapy and this week, Martin's long time friend and collaborator on the Valiant Central Podcast, Paul Tesseneer, joins Comic Talk Today to talk all manners of comic goodness as the boys dive deep into Vault Comics new preorder system for fans and shops, BookIt! Plus, a mention of the League of Comic Geek's competing service and more! Plus, stay tuned through the end as Martin tests Paul's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knowledge.
