Comic Talk Today has released 542 episodes since launching on Mar 03, 2018

On a special Therapy Thursday, Nick Wetmore from the Nerdy Legion podcast joins Martin to discuss some hard hitting topics! Will Batman and Catwoman actually get married? Should creators on top selling titles get paid more and how should that affect the price of the book? Is Grant Morrison really the best (yes)? Plus, Bendis did a great thing, Nick and Martin's top Spider-Man artists, and Nick partakes in the Spider-Man trivia challenge!

Welcome back to another episode of Comic Talk Today! On this episode, Martin discusses Diamond's plans to bring back the spinner rack by using comic book shops as a third party to test out selling comics at "complimentary" locations. Will it work? Martin has some thoughts on that. Plus, Martin answers listener questions about how publishers can keep their readers happy, his favorite comic book runs and creative teams, whether the industry is dying or not (it's not) and more!

On this episode of Comic Talk Today, Martin takes a look at the past and discusses some comic book news before taking a peak into the future to talk about some book recommendations for this week's new comic book day. In the news segment, DC Black Label launch dates announced, plus an interesting reprint strategy from DC, the Maxx returns! (maybe), Heroes In Crisis gets announced and Martin's not sure what to think, Ahoy Comics wants to make comics great again, and Marvel wants to mash up all their superheroes in a teaser!

It is a new week which means it's time for Top Of The Pile, the episode in which Martin discusses some of his favorite reads from last new comic book day. On this episode, Martin dives deep into Venom #2, Port of Earth #6, Nancy Drew #1, Stellar #1, Babyteeth #11, Hawkman #1, Plastic Man #1, The Weatherman #1, and Netflix's first foray into comics with The Magic Order #1. Thanks for listening!

Thursday means it's time for a little comic book therapy and this week, Martin is joined by writer and artist Bridgit Connell to discuss her new book from Titan Comics, Brother Nash. Martin and Bridgit dive deep into the move from web comic to published work, the inspiration for the book, creating such a deep mythology in her series, and of course, what it's like to break into the industry.
