Did you know that if you look up Friday in the dictionary you will see a description of the Valiant Central podcast? True story.

This week, Paul and Martin are joined by Julian Ferretti, @jazeck on Twitter, to discuss the future of Unity, the implications behind some of what happens in "Book of Death: The Fall of Ninjak" (no spoilers), and so much more! We also take a few listener questions as this is our first live streamed episode! We had so much fun doing it, we'll definitely be doing more live shows in the future. If you want to be a part of that, head on over to http://www.nerdylegion.com/listen Wednesdays at 8:30PM EST to join the conversation.

Welcome to another episode of the Valiant Central Podcast!

This week, Paul and Martin take a step back and talk about all the things they love about Valiant comics, and the comic world in general. We offer an introduction to the various Valiant-related podcasts and groups available online and discuss why it's important to have your own voice when it comes to finding books that you love to read.

Welcome to another episode of the Valiant Central podcast, coming to you every week with the best Valiant Comics discussion.

This week, Paul and Martin are joined by Adam Shaw of the Renegades: Talking Valiant podcast over at Talking Comics, and we discuss everything from the comic book scene in Japan, how we all got started with Valiant, what we think the state of Valiant Comics is currently, and where it may go in the future.

Be sure to check Adam out on Twitter @knownothingnerd.

Show Notes

Welcome to a new episode of the Valiant Central Podcast. As we enter our 30s, we figure we would take a step back from shenanigans to get into some serious Valiant Comics discussion.

We start off talking about what it means to be a Valiant fan, and the interesting dynamic that we have seen among the groups and various podcasts over the past couple of years and how varied our origins and experiences are. We also dive a bit into the latest issue of Ninjak, how amazing Stormwatch was under Warren Ellis, and how Valiant's event books have evolved over the years from Harbinger Wars, to Armor Hunters, to Book of Death.

A huge thanks to Nick Wetmore for joining us. You can find Nick on Twitter @NickWetmore and on the upcoming Nerdy Legion Podcast.

Show Notes

Welcome to another episode of the Valiant Central Podcast, the show where we take Valiant universe, and process it through our demented brains to bring you in-depth high quality this discussion - ok, so most week we do that.

This week, Paul and Martin are joined by a special guest, Joshua Schwartz from band, A Sound of Thunder. Some of you may remember the band from their "Punk Mambo" single that was released with the Valiant Humble Bundle some months back. They have been hard at work on a killer follow-up album called "Tales from the Deadside" which is currently on Kickstarter and is inspired by the latest run of Shadowman. In this episode, we talk a little bit about Unity, but really kick things into high gear as we dive into the bands' influences and inspiration for the album, why Shadowman is such a great series to base a metal album on, how the band hooked up with Valiant, and so much more!

Be sure to check out all the links below to learn more about A Sound of Thunder, and their Kickstarter, and be sure to pledge today for some amazing rewards.
