What Did You Watch This Week has released 402 episodes since launching on Mar 03, 2016
This week the guys hit the ground running with Mike calling out John on his assessment of The Blacklist last week, and it all goes downhill from there! Your hosts are having none of that mistrust BS that SHIELD is slinging, and John gets cavities from Supergirl, a show that seems fine with rewriting the mythos of Superman whenever it feels the need to cause drama. All this, plus trailers, documentaries, and a preview of the slower summer months on this week's episode!
Another exciting episode is upon us! Mike shows up 15 minutes late for the podcast because he just couldn't tear himself away from Limitless (and the boys both agree that you SHOULD be watching this show). We also discuss the twisted way Penguin takes revenge, why there are so many overused tropes in some of these shows, and John makes a couple of hard pushes for shows! All this and some water bottle mishaps are here for your listening enjoyment.
Infanticide, slacktivism, and the number one Rogue preview are all on deck this week. The main primetime season is winding down, and the guys are starting to see the results of that waning spirit. Though a few shows have got them saying "ho-hum," Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are spot on and keeping them talking this week!
This week's episode covers a number of great shows including the amazing crossover episode of Supergirl and Flash, "World's Finest," plus a race featuring book pages, a bevy of trailers, and the first ever WDYWTW corrections and omissions from listeners! All this, plus Mike has finally tumbled down the rabbit hole that is Limitless, and John asks what is up with Jim Gordon's hair, only on the latest installment of What Did You Watch This Week!
This week on the show, John and Mike make some chilling discoveries, and their worlds are turned upside down when they begin to realize that someone has broken a most sacred vow they made! Could this be the end of our dynamic duo? Is their show doomed to fail before it even starts? Did Mike really watch a show that prominently involved a severed appendage? Why do we keep asking questions? The answers to some of these, and more are here for those who listen!
